Here are some of the photos I shot at Lee & Tayvia’s wedding at the Anderson Hitch ‘n’ Post in Grosse Isle, MB this fall. It was such a great day for a wedding and we started it off right when the guys were getting ready at Lee’s friend’s place with some Moonshine. Nothing gets a wedding day going better than Shine!! My kinda guys.
Lee & Tayvia first met when they used to race super trucks together at the Red River Coop Speedway in Manitoba. Lee was always the leader in the race and Tayvia was able to give him a run for his money. He was very supportive of Tayvia doing well in the Super truck class as she was just starting, then they eventually became good friends talking with each other constantly which soon turned into a relationship. Still to this day Tayvia still imagines Lee and her side by side on the racetrack fighting for first.
Their first date went great, they went for supper and then challenged each other AGAIN at Speed world indoor go cart track…… Tayvia won!
Tayvia’s dad won a trip to Vegas through his business, he took Lee and her along. On the 3rd day, Lee took Tayvia to a Japanese restaurant with waterfalls and cute cozy little seats. They ordered food and she could tell he was waiting to say something. Eventually, he pushed out the table and said “Tayvia, you are perfect and you are the most amazing mother to our two girls. I love you so much and I do want to spend the rest of my life with you and opened a ring box, and said will you marry me? I said yes! Little did I know my Lee planned the day in Winnipeg before we even got to Vegas and asked my dad’s permission. He said yes as well.”
We stayed well after the bride and groom left at midnight and got a ton more dancing party photos and finally got home just after 2:30 am. What a great day!!
