Albert & Chelsey’s Canmore Wedding

Check out Albert & Chelsey’s Wedding Blog posting. They got married in Canmore, AB, surrounded by mountains. It was a stunning setting for such an elegant and fun wedding.

I drove out from Winnipeg a few days before to start shooting some family photos and just some fun photos for them. I never charge mileage, so it cost them nothing to get me out there, and I love road-trips. I wish I did more of them.

The day before their wedding we went to Banff to go on a Sleigh Ride in the mountains. How cool was that? All of their family and super close friends were there. It was an awesome way to meet everyone before the busy wedding day.

Albert & Chelsey got married at the Bear & Bison, located right in Canmore, overlooking the 3 Sisters Mountain Range. They did their first look there after getting ready. We then headed out for some creative photos and family photos at the Engine Bridge, just outside of town.

Once the creative shots were all done, we went back to the Bear & Bison for their wedding ceremony, which took place at dusk so they could get married by candlelight. What a super cool idea. It was a fantastic day and evening with such a great couple. Before you knew it, it was 1:00 am and the party was all over. We did meet the next day at 9:00 am for breakfast before I had to leave to come back home to Winnipeg. I can’t wait for my next wedding out there!

Albert & Chelsey met while working together as Mounties with the RCMP. They both transferred over to the Calgary City Police so they could be together and not moved all over the country. They are a perfect match for each other. It was a real honour and privilege to have been able to photograph their wedding for them.

Chris Jensen Studios never charges mileage, even to Banff and Canmore, and because they are First Responders (Police, Military, Fire, Paramedic, Hospital Staff), I made sure they got their First Responder’s Discount of $500 off their wedding package as a way of saying thank you for looking after our community and country. Thank you for having me as your wedding photographer!
